SO ice eh? I have a good story for you all. It has all the good qualities of a fantastic tale. This story begins on Friday morning. Yes thats right the day that oklahoma became one solid block of ice. So i sincerely thought that the ice was coming that night. Yeah i was wrong.... I walked out to my car Friday morning thinking getting to work won't really be that bad. Yeah you guessed it wrong again.... SO i pryed the door of the crap mobile open and pulled out my trusty ice scraper. Let me tell you this is no ordinary ice scraper... It is about 2.5' long and has the scraper at one end and a sweeper at the other. So I sent in the "Super scraper" to rescue me from this blistering cold weather and began chipping away at the inch of ice that would actually rather stay stuck to my car. And wouldn't you know, apparently "Super Scraper" has already made a deal with the ice and the crapmobile. As i am digging into the ice the "Super Scraper" decided it was time for a much needed break and BREAK is exactly what he did. OH SNAP!!! It snapped off right at the head and i was left with a useless broom and palm sized scraper. Fan - Dang- Tastic. At that point I had only scraped part of the front window and the driver side window. Greaaaaaaaaaaat. I was left with little choice then, but to start hacking away at ALL of the windows with a palm sized scraper. CHYA! And the adventures continue. This morning I slid into curb in my neighborhood on my way to work. It definitly felt like a movie only slightly scarier cause i didn't actually have control of my car. I am at work now and it is already dark outside which should mean a really fun drive home tonight. I am only slightly worried. I have decided that the ice is officially not my friend. I just wanted you all to know. FINITO! |
